That's a good question; in fact it's the best question you have ever asked.
What's in it for me?
A God that loves you and will stay by your side for the rest of your life, He will help you and show you love like no one else can.
An eternal life in heaven with a life so rich and amazing you can't even imagine it in your wildest dreams.
There's no more death or mourning or crying or pain, only the endless joys of exploration and discovery.
As it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." (1 Cor. 2:9)
And best of all its all been paid for by Jesus dying on a cross for your sins, He did the hard part for you , all you have to do to be Saved is accept this incredible gift from Him.
It's the only way you can truly be free.
While God is patient, not desiring that any should be lost, it's not His decision to make. He's given it to you, knowing that without an alternative, your choice to voluntarily accept Him is meaningless. He loves you enough to risk that you'll make the wrong decision, and enough to abide by your wishes if you do.
God never forces us to do anything we don't want to do.
It's the only way you can be what your creator made you to be.
God created you for a reason and a purpose, He did not create you so you can make a lot of money and please yourself with the thing of this world, He had a purpose for you, and until you find out what that purpose is you can never truly be happy.
What if I don't accept Jesus but I'm a good person don't I get points for that?
Not really, Jesus is the only way to heaven and to avoid spending eternity in hell fire.
The Bible says in John 14. 6
Revelation 20:15
The Bible teaches us that every one ever born lives forever. The question is not whether you have eternal life. The question is where you will spend eternity. There are only two possible destinations and we've described them both. Eternal bliss in the presence of God, or eternal shame and punishment banished from the presence of God.
Don't get me wrong. No one would knowingly choose to go to a place of eternal torment. But many will wind up there. When they do it'll be because they refused to choose Heaven, and it's the only other alternative.
So really it's up to you my friend, you have no one to blame but yourself if you make the wrong decision,
God won't force you to do the right thing; He respects your right to free will too much to do that.

Why do I need to become a Christian?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
God bless you all.
